Hope in the Lord

Paul Slater

Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength(Isaiah 40:31a)

Those whose hope is in the Lord, in his promises, those who live by faith and not by sight, those who live by faith and not feeling, those who live not according to their own desires, own will, own emotions. Those who hope in the Lord "will renew their strength" this is a promise!!

What is your hope in? Where are you trying to find strength, in yourself or in Christ? Without Christ you have no strength, we are grasshoppers, fragile clay jars but those who hope in the Lord are strong, can do all things through him, are more than conquerors, mighty warriors, champions. Those who hope is found in Jesus and Jesus only will be renewed.

Those who seek first the kingdom will find that strength will be added unto them. Key principle friends: 1. Do not seek healing, seek the God of Healing 2. Do not seek signs and wonders. Signs and wonders will follow you/chase you. As christians, miracles chase us, we don't chase them. We chase the God of miracles and miracles are added unto us.

What is your Hope in I ask you? What are you trying to find hope in? Your job? A relationship? What you do? Having a hope in the Lord comes out of knowing the Lord. We hope in the Lord when we are aware of his identity, who he is and in that we can rest and be strengthened. God bless you people and may the God of rest deliver you from restlessness and into a place where streams of living water flow from you.

Those who Trust God prosper, those who are certain of what Jesus has attained for them will prosper, those who are a vase without a crack can be filled and not leak, those can be consumed by the fire. "My people are never hot because they never stay around the fire long enough to stay warm for me" We need fresh manna as Benny Hinn would say, we need daily bread, a new revelation, something fresh that causes us to declare what the angels declare "Holy Holy Holy is the Lord of Hosts. Perfect Perfect Perfect is our God.

Our God is a consuming fire(hebrews12:29.) He purifies, keeps us warm, but unlike a natural fire God does not want us to be close to him and comfortable. God desires to push us outside of our comfort zones and into places where we are stretched and are forced to grow. The fire causes us to spread, to grow, to do things we have never done before. Praise God!!!
