GOD opened the Eyes and Ears of an Unbelieving Scientist to the GOOD NEWS of ETERNAL LIFE!

I speak as someone who used to be an enemy of all religion. I qualified to Postgraduate level as a Biological Scientist. I believed in evolution and rejected the idea of there being a Creator God and I rejected the idea of the Bible being true. I was a difficult person to be with: hard, uncaring and stubborn. That has all since changed! I could not have done that by myself.

I came to the point of “…repentance towards God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Acts20verse21in the Bible) after this Creator God proved to me he was and is real and that the GOOD NEWS (or Gospel) proclaimed in his Word, the Bible, was and is true. Stories about how people repent and believe vary widely, but it must happen if you are to be saved. In my particular case, it happened after God re-enacted Pentecost for my benefit.

"A nd suddenly there came from heaven the sound of a rushing wind that filled the whole house where they were sitting.” (Acts2v2)

The doors and windows were closed. There was no draught within. The only way that wind could have been generated in that room was by supernatural means. This wind went through my eardrums and penetrated every single part of my body. The wind of which we know in nature simply cannot do that.

I demanded proof that the Gospel is true and I got it!

Pentecost was an event that occurred in an upper room in a house in Jerusalem nearly two thousand years ago shortly after the death and rising from the dead of the Lord Jesus Christ. The early believers in Jesus experienced an amazing phenomenon just like this. A violent, powerful, rushing wind entered that room and touched each one personally.

This “repeat” convinced me that everything Jesus said and did was true; that he lived, taught about the Kingdom of God, healed the sick, raised the dead; that he died a cruel death on the Cross and rose again from the dead. He is with us now by the Holy Spirit. He made the claim that he is the way to Eternal Life. I believe him. Will you? “Jesus said: ‘I am the way, the truth and the life: no one comes to the Father but by me.’” (John14v6)

How to get to Heaven from Here: The Good News is TRUE!

Your life will end one day, as will mine. Anyone’s life can be taken from him or her for almost any reason. But here is the Good News, also known as the Gospel. ANYONE can have ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN. There is only one alternative, HELL. It exists. It is the outer darkness, the lake of fire. It is forever.

If you reject the CHRIST of the BIBLE here, he will reject you there. Here is how to accept him: REPENT. Aim to turn away from what is wrong in your life (sin). “There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3v23) Because of sin, no-one can get to Heaven by him/herself.

BELIEVE UPON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST: Make a conscious positive decision to trust the RISEN Jesus Christ and him ALONE to forgive you of your sin and give you this Eternal Life. Heaven is and will be a place full of joy, peace, free from sin, death and pain. It is worth having and knowing that you have it!

Please read the following carefully and claim these things for yourself. It does not matter whether you are young or old, rich or poor, what country you come from or what religious tradition you might observe. YOU need to be saved from Hell.

"Lord Jesus Christ, I am truly sorry for all the wrong things I have said, thought and done in my life. I wish to turn from these now. I appreciate that I am not good enough to get into heaven because of my sin. I ask that you forgive me. I believe that you took all of my sin on you when you died on the Cross two thousand years ago, that you did it for me personally. I believe that you rose again from the dead, never to die again, the perfect sacrifice once and for all. I invite you now into my life as my LORD and SAVIOUR. I accept your offer of Eternal Life through YOU and YOU ALONE. Thank you. Amen”

"... if you believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord’ you will be saved.” (Romans 10v9)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life.” (John3v16)

"... the love of God is shown in this, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5v8)

"Behold, now is the accepted time, now is the day of Salvation.” (2Corinthians 6v2). You can be here today and gone tomorrow. Be wise and obey the Gospel TODAY. It is TRUE.
