Harry Schilling, a servant of Christ Jesus, our Lord who lives and reigns forevermore.  May my testimony inspire you to seek the one and only Savior.

I found Jesus Christ when I was 18 years old. I was brought up in the Catholic religion, although not practicing at the time of my conversion. I was dumped by my girlfriend and invited to a "Catholic Charismatic" prayer meeting. The prayer meeting was stronger than anything I'd ever associated with chruch. The individuals that attended the meeting believed that God was active, alive, and spoke to them on a daily basis. I thought the group was crazy - however, I continued to attend because of the love and kindness they showed me.

They didn't care that I didn't buy into their Bible Believer ways because the group was convinced that the Lord Jesus would show himself to me. Each person was willing to spend the time to debate the scriptures and challenged me to seek the Lord for myself. The summer following my graduation from high school was an eventful one, filled with answered prayer, healing, miracles, and finally my salvation (along with the Baptism in the Holy Spirit).

The Lord did begin speaking to me; through the Bible, my prayer times, and throughout my daily routines. What a merciful and loving God who sent his Son to die that I might have life! There are many miraculous wonders the Lord has done for me or delivered me from, such as: hatred of my fathers (blood and step relative) and mother, loneliness, sorrow and pain, thoughts and desires, estrangement from family and friends, and fear. But none like the instant my sins were forgiven and my relationship with God was born anew.

I continue to work out my salvation with fear and trembling, grateful to the One (Christ Jesus) that set me free.  My hope and prayer is that you will seek the Lord while he may be found in order to live with Him now and forevermore: what he's done for me, he'll do for you.
