Dear Father my God

I had Darkness, You gave me light

I had no love, You gave me Jesus

I had nothing that anybody wanted

You came for me just as I was.

You made me new, something bright

And shining and filled me with love

You comforted me when no one else could.

You put Your Spirit within me that

So Your love may be known to others.

Jesus my Savior I give thanks to You

Who set me free from the curse of sin

And gave me life in the God who

Made me twice and loved me always

And forever.
