Testimony Joe Manus

I was released last night from Htfd. Hosp. where I had received my 2nd. back operation.  On the way to the hospital I stopped at my Pastors' house for prayer + to be anointed with oil.  There my wife and I met my Pastor in  my car, in her driveway.  We bowed our heads in prayer and she anointed my head with oil.  As she prayed over me, ( of course ) I was thanking God + I was saying yes Lord and please Lord and JESUS, JESUS, JESUS.  While still in prayer tears began to flow from my eyes, I began to wail, then suddenly, the sounds of laughter filled the car.  God had taken all those things that were in me that I didn't even know  were there.  All my fears and sad tears.  He turned them all to tears of joy and hope and thanks.  He let me know that everything was going to be alright.  If I had a thousand tongues I couldn't thank or praise him enough.

When I got signed in , put on a stretcher and was being wheeled down the hall, the orderly that was pushing my gurney asked me if I was afraid. I said, without hesitation, "no I got Jesus."  As I lay waiting to be operated on I had no fear nor doubt.  When I woke after the surgery, I remember hearing people ask me to wiggle my toes but, I couldn't feel my legs and yet I was still not afraid.  Prior to the anointing I was afraid that I could become wheelchair bound. God knew what I needed and when I needed it. "To God be the glory!"
