We are the gifts God Gave Him
Last night I had a dream:
I saw Jesus. He was sitting in a class room like in elementary school. He had long brown hair, and a beard. He wore a long white gown with a bright read sash over the front. He was sitting at one of the tables in a plastic chair like they use in classrooms. He was speaking to God about human beings. (I couldn't see God) He was telling God of his great love for us, and why He wants us. I cannot remember the words He was saying. It was like He was petitioning God to give us to Him. Jesus seemed incredibly happy that God had answered Him, and was going to present us to Jesus as special gifts. Next I saw Jesus with childlike joy and enthusiasm. He was holding some dolls. He was collecting them one by one from boxes or shelves in the children's classroom, and he felt giddy with joy and excitement as he received each new one. He looked at each one as a special gift. I believe the dolls were a symbol of us. I can describe Jesus' childlike enthusiasm as the same enthusiasm I saw in my own children. I promised them that each Friday they could pick out a toy from a store. It was like a weekly allowance, or a little gift I gave them. I know they looked forward to Fridays, and they probably felt enthusiasm all week long, thinking of what toy they would pick out when they went to the toy store. When they picked out their toy, they took it home like a special treasure. So I don't think the dream meant that He sees us as toys of course, but He sees us as treasures with the same excitement like a child sees his toys.
Father, they are your gift to me, I wish that where I am they also may be with me...
