I am a graduate student of Towson University. In the middle of May, 02, I finished all exams of this semester. Meanwhile, my lease would be expired at the end of the same month, I must move out of the place where I have been living for almost two years or renew the lease. It was a great place for studying and living. However, I was tired of this place. It is a sort of the hotel, I shared the apartment with two other students, everybody had different schedules, sometimes, we even couldn’t see each other several days during a week. Also, I felt I was isolated from American sociality. As a foreign student, I desire to meet friends and see American cultures. So, I decided I must look for a new living place.

During the last weeks of May, I began to hunt for a place and wished I could find a room in a house, the landlord should be an American, so, I can improve my English. Also, the house should be close to my school. At the third week of May, I got some information from the school web site and flyers in the school’s library. I made a lot of calls, however, the result was terrible, because somebody took these places already. At that time, there was one week left, I thought that probably I should change my mind, looking for an apartment even though it was a little bit far away from school, no matter if the landlord or owner was an American or not.

At the very beginning of the searching, I prayed every morning. I had a very strong feeling that God will take care of it. So, I tried to slow down the searching intentionally and wanted to see what would happen eventually. The first few days of the last week of May, I still didn’t get any messages which said houses or apartments were available. However, I had confidence that something would happen. On May 27^th, I was looking for a place with a friend of mine, I saw a sign in front of a house which was near my school suddenly while we were passing it. I couldn’t believe my eyes, it said rooms in the house were available for rent.

A miracle occurred, the house where I am living is exactly I wanted, its landlord is a friendly American, it is near to my school. I like the place very much and do believe God did it for me in His unique way.
