A couple weeks ago my grandfather passed away. He had congestive heart failure and emphysema. As my family showed up at the hospital from different parts of the country, we all got to say our final "goodbyes." He was in pain all week that week, as we all proffessed our love for him, he was suffering, I could barely stand to see my grandpa in this shape. I had the chance before his passing to tell him he had been one of my best friends. He stated, "I'm scared to suffer, not to die. I know I'm right with God, I'm ready to go to Heaven." What greater peace could we have than to know our Grandfather, is in Heaven with The Lord?
