Brethren,
Greetings in the lord Jesus and God blessings be upon you as you read this testimony!
I want to thank God for his love and mercy in my life. I am a Christian. I am trying by all means possible to serve the lord and give him my best. I am grateful to my lord because he has allowed me to give him my best when it comes to financial commitments: Tithing, vows, offerings, and contribution to the persecuted body of Christ in restricted nations. We know today one of the big problems in the body of Christ is money issue. Sometimes Christians do not tithe or give less than 10%, or do not offer God as it is supposedly to be in line with the Bible scriptures Malachi 1:13 ; Mal 3:8. The Bible taught us to give to God what is his and to Caesar what belongs to Caesar (Mark 12:17). Giving should be done with right attitude (Widow’s offering Mark 12:43-44); (Macedonian Churches 2nd Corinthians 8:2-3: II Corinthians 9:6-7).
Thank God for his grace in my life ! I have peace in my heart whenever I give my offerings to God. I am very glad whenever I tithe (I always give more than 10%). I am very thankful to God whenever I fulfill my financial vows (Ecclesiastes 5:4-5) .I humbly praise and worship my maker for the opportunity given to me to invest in heaven whenever I contribute financially for Christians in persecuted Nations. All the glory, all the honour, all the power be unto him alone!
I would like to encourage also my beloved brethren to fulfill all their financial commitments to God (Ecclesiastes 11:1): tithing. Offering, financial vows, special financial contribution, alm, sponsoring the work of God... This is a very good investment in heaven. Robbers and thieves will not break in and steal; moth and rust will not destroy. Satan is holding people bound. He does not want Christians to give financially, materially to God with happiness and gratitude. We are not ignorant of the devil devices. This should be our principle “Saying Yes to God when we give to him and No to Satan when he told us not to give to God.” We do not necessarily have to be well off and problems free before starting giving to God, but we can start giving to him the little we have. What counts is obedience and our attitude to God. Beloved in good times ,in bad times just” let us give continually to God “.May God bless all of us as we exhort one another knowing that the kingdom of God is already at hand!
